I first met Jordan and Zachary at Panera Bread months before their wedding. Zach sat back and smiled as Jordan told me all the details, showed me pictures of her dress, told me about her bridesmaids and how she met Zach through mutual friends and pursued him when he was a little shy. Zachary then proclaimed, after a few dates, that they were “official”, and it definitely was no mistake! These two’s laid back personalities compliment each other, and that was evident to me from our very first meeting.

On their big day, I saw everything Jordan told me about come together flawlessly. Her dress had a vintage-vibe, which was perfectly complimented by the historic downtown venue at The Weeden House. Just look at this setting for her bridals!

And the spiral staircase was perfect for their first look!

I later found out that their florals were inspired by fall, with a lot of texture and a nod to Auburn (War Eagle, I knew Jordan and Zach were a perfect client match for me!!). And of course Old Frond Floral Co. delivered and did not disappoint.

So one of my favorite things about this wedding were the little details, each with big impact and meeting. First, Jordan made and gifted Zach with his cuff links, which were maps of where they met and where they were engaged.

Jordan also used Zachary’s grandmother’s garter from her wedding in 1952. So cool!!!

Their wedding party consisted of close friends and family, with most of Jordan’s bridesmaids being sorority sisters from Montevallo. These bridesmaids and a few guests from the sorority made Jordan tear up as their circled around her in an old tradition to sing “Dream Girl” at the reception.

After mingling and some AMAZING food (major props to their caterer, Chef Next Door!), it was time for their send off in the front of the Weeden House, and husband and wife were on their way to North Carolina!

Congrats, Jordan and Zach!! You had a lineup of some of the most amazing vendors in Huntsville, and your perfect day went off without a single glitch. Perfect start to your happy marriage!

Jen and Aaron’s wedding was my smallest wedding to date, but I quickly decided these little intimate weddings are one of my favorite things. They were married in a little white chapel up on one of the mountains here in Huntsville, AL, Wedding Chapel on the Mountain.

Speaking of this venue, The Wedding Chapel is one of my favorite venues because you’re surrounded by mountains and trees and natural, rocky terrain, and you feel like your miles from anything, but you’re still right here in Huntsville. Not to mention, great photo spots everywhere you turn!!

Jen and Aaron were married on a chilly [read: very, very cold] afternoon surrounded by their closest family. These two were so relaxed and happy to share their promise to one another with the ones they love most.

Here are a few of my favorites from their day!

Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day! And shout out to the new Mrs. Voyles for braving the cold without a single complaint!

“The key to happiness is love. And the ability to open your beer.” I think the sign reading this at Sarah and James’ reception may sum up the night. :-) There were friends, dancing, happy tears, hugs, BIG families, some beer, and most of all lots of love.

The mountain views were the perfect natural backdrop for their ceremony, which was outside the Monte Sano Lodge in Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville.

Although it was late October, the leaves were not quite ready to change yet, but we still had perfect fall temperatures to make a comfortable day. We started inside the lodge where the bride and her maids were exchanging gifts, sipping on some champagne and enjoying their cute personalized robes!

The brides’ dress was from Madison Town & Country Bridal by Casablanca, and looked so beautiful hanging from their ceremony altar.

The bride and groom were not doing a “first look” so we jumped straight into bridals and bridesmaids’ portraits.

The beautiful bridesmaids’ dresses were by Dessy from Bridesmaids Inc in Birmingham. Their hair and makeup was by Special Event Styles by Ashley White.

And we can’t forget a few of the gentlemen…

Then it was time for the “I do’s”!

The reception is where the happy tears came, the beers were opened, and the dancing started!

Cheers to the new Mr and Mrs Fleming! We had an absolute BLAST celebrating with you guys!!!!
